Earl Dryden, DVM

Dr. Dryden is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He attended Heritage Christian High School and graduated from Butler University in 1992. Dr. Dryden then attended the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine through 1998. Upon graduating in 1998, he was recognized with the award for Outstanding Performance in Large and Small Animal Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Dryden previously owned and operated a small animal practice in Martinsville, IN and has been practicing emergency medicine for the last 10 years.  During the past decade he worked closely with many of the specialists in the Indianapolis area and as a consulting veterinarian for several emergency, critical care and surgery centers.  Dr. Dryden has continued to expand his surgical expertise over the past decade through advanced courses and certifications in orthopedic surgery procedures and imaging techniques. He is now accepting surgical referral cases at Brookville Road Animal Hospital.

Dr. Dryden is an avid outdoorsman and conservationist.   He has three sons Quinn, Lane and Reid.  In addition to the three amigos, the Dryden homestead is also a bunkhouse for multiple pets including two retiring German Shorthaired Pointers, Scout and BJ, and a new 6 month old canine member of the family, “Lucy” who is now playing her role in the family by dragging and chasing the boys everywhere.  In addition to the canine members of the  Dryden clan, they also have three cats, Cleo, Fluff and Grey; one fish, “Mega mind” and a recent crop of pigeons (names still pending).
